Joel Salatin Workshop

Farmers and ranchers are invited to a day of learning with Joel Salatin of Polyface Farm. 

The day-long workshop will cover multiple topics that are specific to our region including: multiple livestock species integration and grazing principles, woodland pork, on-farm processing of poultry and small animals, and creating buying clubs as a marketing opportunity for small farmers.

Schedule:
  • 10am- Presentation
  • Noon- Lunch catered by Fulcrum Dining
  • 1-4pm- Tour of Yale Creek Ranch including Q&A
Registration is limited to the first 50 participants. 

Cost is $50 per person, including lunch.

Farmers, customers come together to enhance the dining experience

With restaurants the stage and menus the script for "farm-to-table" cuisine, local diners often relate to farmers only as bit characters in the cast.

Starting next week, farmers and consumers will play roles in the same scene for a new dinner series that runs through November. Founders of "Farm to Fork" are bringing their tables to the farm, their kitchen to the food and farmers and customers together for a meal. Read more...
